WFCW Beatdown's Freakmania aftermath has long been overdue due to technical issues as well as issues within the management.
While both episodes have already been taped and experienced by a live audience, Beatdown was having difficulties getting the show approved by their current network UNTV.
UNTV did not release any information as to why the airing last two episodes of beatdown on their network was delayed.
As a result of this, WFCW Beatdown GM Wilson Fisk took matters on his own hand and demanded an early release with their contractual obligations with UNTV. An offer UNTV failed to refuse.
WFCW Beatdown will now be hosted by SOLAR sports and the final two episodes from UNTV will now be a Two-Hour special as the show inaugurates on Solar Sports which includes a no.1 contender tourney for the X-title to be defended on Beatdown's first PPV, as well as a couple of wrestlers debuting on Beatdown.
Former WWE legend Hulk Hogan who was last seen on Slam! was confirmed to be on the 2 hour episode as well.
WFCW Beatdown regrets the fact that the show will be aired at a later time but is also happy to be part of Solar entertainment.
WFCW Beatdown's 2-hour episode is scheduled to air Oct.21st 2007.
Following the aftermath of WFCW’s first PPV, Freakmania, Beatdown acquires a new GM in the persona of Wilson “the Kingpin” Fisk. What flavor would the mob lord bring to the plate?
