They don't mix bro. They will give you the nearest possible shade.

Bro juggy, just go to your nearest hobby shop and ask assistance from people there. Bring your fig for color reference. Bro can you recommend a good hobby shop? Also what's best to use for sculpting on your customs?

I think we should start doing a sticky for essential tools for a customizer. I've recently started simple part swaps and fix ups. (will post pix soon) So far what i've seen real helpful are:
-Blower/boiling water for part swaps -Acetone or alcohol for paint removal, thinner (depending on the amount of paint you wish to remove) -cotton or paper towels -long nose pliers- for those nasty dumbell like neck that goes with the head when you pull them out (small one bought at hobby/crafts stores) -Gundam Markers (simple touch ups) -Sharpies (may not be the best but does the job, smudges when mixed with paint/gundam marker)
So far that's what ive used, i've seen some paint (academy/tamiya) and might start painting (gulp!) but i don't trust my pasmado hands. Any recommendations?

You'd be surprised with what my bro's and i use for customizing...
Reeves acrylic paint hot water long nose pliers liquid paper clear nail polish toothpick
so far so good. but can anyone give tips on how to swap the torso of DA figures? looks like the RA technique wouldn't work for the DA figs.

Frankly speaking I haven't tried torso swaps for DA figs yet, but aside from the additional stomach joint it seems to be very similar to RA torsos. I would assume cracking it open RA-style would do the trick. Good luck!

yup, most of those who crack open the DA's also do it by the waist but I never tried it. I just wait for the body type i want and would rather resort to part swaps and repainting
